REPORT ON OBSERVATION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026

The College of Nursing, Synod Hospital, Durtlang observed World Environment Day 2026 on 13th June 2026 at the College Campus. Although World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5th June, the programme could not be conducted on the scheduled date due to the Internal Examination of the students.
The observance aimed to create awareness on environmental conservation and promote sustainable practices among students and staff. As part of the programme, a tree plantation drive and campus cleanliness activity were conducted. Faculty members and students actively participated in the activities and reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the environment.
The programme was successfully conducted and helped strengthen environmental awareness and responsibility among the participants.
